Story

Queen's Blade -Reina

Queen's Blade is a life-or-death tournament that determines the Queen of the land. In accordance with a tradition that has continued since the founding of the kingdom, the strongest woman will govern the people. You are a female warrior participating in Queen's Blade. The fate that awaits you could be on the throne as the Queen, the humiliation of defeat, or death.

Adaptations

Animation:

A TV anime series, Queen's Blade: Ruro no Senshi (Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin) was aired in Japan from April 2009 until June 2009. The series contains 12 episodes.
The second series, Queen's Blade: Gyokuza wo Tsugumono (Queen's Blade: Inheritor of the Throne) was aired in Japan from September 2009 until December 2009. It contains 12 episodes.
Media Blasters licensed both seasons for North American distribution.
From August 2010, new OVA series, Queens's Blade: Utukushiki Toshitachi (Queens Blade: Beautiful Warriors) will be produced. It will contain 6 episodes.

Action figures and statues:

Various licensees including MegaHouse, Kaiyodo and Medicos Entertainment have produced various Queen's Blade figures and statues and they are mostly well accepted by the market in Japan.

Video Game:

Queen's Blade: Spiral Chaos was produced for the PlayStation Portable, by Bandai Namco Games in 2009.
